2. About SoCo Universe

SoCo Universe is a community-run platform for organizing and participating in trading card game tournaments in Sonoma County, California. We are a grassroots collective built by players, for players.

3. User Accounts

Account Creation: You may sign up using Google or Discord authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Account Responsibility: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep this information up to date.

4. Tournament Participation

Registration: By registering for a tournament, you commit to attending and completing all scheduled matches. Please only register if you can commit to the full event.

Entry Fees: Some tournaments may require entry fees. All fees must be paid according to the tournament organizer's instructions.

Conduct: You agree to maintain respectful and sportsmanlike conduct during all tournaments and interactions with other players.

Game Rules: You must follow all official game rules for the specific TCG being played. Cheating or rule violations may result in disqualification and account suspension.

5. Community Guidelines

We have zero tolerance for:

  • Harassment, bullying, or hate speech
  • Cheating or unfair play
  • Spam or unsolicited advertising
  • Impersonation of other users or staff
  • Sharing inappropriate or offensive content

Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent ban from the platform.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on SoCo Universe, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by SoCo Universe or our community contributors. Trading card game names, logos, and card images are property of their respective owners.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

SoCo Universe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of tournament data, or availability of any specific features.

8. Limitation of Liability

SoCo Universe and its organizers are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to lost prizes, tournament disputes, or technical issues.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
